BETH ORTON is a british singer-songwriter of electronic folk. She is distinguished by a peculiar voice that is recognized by just hearing a note. She started in music with William Orbit and The Chemical Brothers. She has published five records to date. SARA BAREILLES: KING OF ANYTHING.

Last year we could enjoy "Kaleidoscope Heart", the second album by SARA BAREILLES whose first single was KING OF ANYTHING a funny song, wrapped up with some interesting vocal harmonies and the sound to the rythm the claps, to become one of the great successes of this catchy song. Barelles has recently been nominated for Grammy at the cathegory of best female pop vocal performance for this song.

TAHURES ZURDOS: TOCARÉ.

TAHURES ZURDOS was a Spanish rock group that was active from 1987 to 2004. In their songs there are some influences from Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, David Bowie and The Who. Although the gritty voice of Aurora Beltran, undisputed leader of the band, reminds us more artists like Melissa Etheridge. Tahures Zurdos has recorded ten succesful albums. Today, Aurora Beltran continues her solo career. I have chosen TOCARÉ, a beautiful song dedicated to love for music that belongs to the album "Nieve Negra" (1991).

SATCHEL: SUFFERING.

SATCHEL is an alternative rock band from Seattle, featuring Shawn Smith (vocals, piano and guitar), Regan Hagar (drums), John Hoag (guitar) and Mike Berg (bass), who replaced original bassist Cory Kane in 1995. They have published four albums to date since 1994. I have Chosen SUFFERING (EDC,1994) one of my favourites. The first time I heard this song was in the cult movie "Beautiful Girls" (Ted Demme 1996). I felt in love of the voice of shawn and his Lyrics inmediately. I hope you like.

DAVID FONSECA is one of the most interesting portuguese artist. Singer, songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist, Fonseca has recorded several succesful albums but we have chosen ANGEL SONG, the first music he wrote, composed when he was only 18 and which was included in "Silence 4" (1998) his first album. This song is a fetish for the people who go to Fonseca´s Concerts. He always have to sing it. It is a Precious song.
