ESKOBAR is the name of a Swedish indie pop band that was founded in 1996 some 30 kilometres north of Stockholm, in the small town of Åkersberga. The band features Daniel Bellqvist as its lead singer, Frederik Zäll on guitars, and Robert Birming on drums. The fame came with "Someone new" a duet with Heather Nova released in 2002, was an international hit and has since taken on a life of its own. Although both artists are still primarily known in Europe, the popularity of "Someone New" saw Eskobar and Heather Nova's fan base reach America through MTV. But today we are going to listen MOVE ON that belongs to the album "There's only know" (2001). Eskobar has published five records to date.
LYRICS
You and J's been sitting by the roadside
For far too long, in this little town
Seems your plan of leaving left you both behind
Your wings are strong, you're still on the ground
Seconds, hours, minutes they all pass you by
Above your heads, still an empty sky
Shining shies or working mines, is not your favorite waste oftime
And never what you had in mind
Gonna have to move on
Or else your life will be gone
Don't set your level too high
Just lower the line of the sky
You missed the bus that never had a stop in your town
Seems it let you down, never came around
No one you knew ever left this place alive
Became husbands and wives, nomatter how they strived
Seconds, hours, minutes they all pass you by
Above your heads, still an empty sky
Shining shies or working mines, is not your favorite waste oftime
And never what you had in mind
Gonna have to move on
Or else your life will be gone
Don't set your level too high
Just lower the line of the sky

I don´t know this group, the sound is simillar like Manic Street Preachers.
Not is my prefer style of music.
I never had been compared with Manic Street Preacher. Maybe in this song you have found something in common with them. I see a little more like Savege Garden, And other bands that make a fresh and casual pop.
