DUSTY SPRINGFIELD: YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME.

DUSTY SPRINGFIELD is one of our favorite singers of all time. Her career gave us unforgettable songs during four decades. We believe She is a figure to claim in the history of pop. Today we have chosen one of his many hits: YOU DONT HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME (1966). Not be the last time She appears in this blog.

LYRICS

When I said, I needed you,
You said you would always stay.
It wasn't me who changed, but you.
And now you've gone away.

Don't you see that now you've gone,
And I'm left here on my own,
That I have to follow you,
And beg you to come home?

You don't have to say you love me.
Just be close at hand.
You don't have to stay forever,
I will understand.
Believe me, believe me,
I can't help but love you.
But believe me,
I'll never tie you down.

Left alone with just a memory,
Life seems dead and so unreal.
All that's left is loneliness.
There's nothing left to feel.

You don't have to say you love me.
Just be close at hand.
You don't have to stay forever,
I will understand.
Believe me, believe me-he.

You don't have to say you love me.
Just be close at hand.
You don't have to stay forever,
I will understand.
Believe me, believe me-ee, believe me.

To me She is also very special. I hear a lot of contemporary music. But there is always a time to return to Dusty Springfield. It bothers me enough that She always sold as the singer of "Son of the preacher man" because She has hundreds of songs I like besides that song.
